Full Company Assist to Residential Fire in Phoenixville

Sunday evening RFD was dispatched assisting Phoenixville Fire Department on a residential fire on the northside of Phoenixville Borough. Royersford units were dispatched as a part of the 2nd alarm assignment and the full company was requested when the 3rd alarm was requested. EMS Crews' Efforts Help to Deliver Justice

In December 2021 Friendship Ambulance along with East Vincent Township Police Department were dispatched to a residence for reports of a cardiac arrest. After arriving onscene responders found the patient had been a victim of a brutal assault including being stabbed. EMS Crew Reunited with Patient

Earlier this month the EMS Division personnel had the pleasure of reuniting with a young man who was critically injured in June from a motorcycle collision in Upper Providence Township. David's injuries were severe and critical with EMS crews working quickly onscene to assess, treat, and transport him to Paoli Hospital's Trauma Center for continuing care.

George Gilliano Presented Life Membership

Overnight Crew Assists Upper Providence on Low Angle Rescue
RFD Watchdesk, October 25
Shortly after 11 p.m. on Thursday night Rescue 98 was requested to assist Upper Providence Township units on an accident scene. The crash began on eastbound 422 where the vehicle went off the roadway and toward Ashenfelter Road. Upper Providence Fire units determined that access to the vehicle and removing the driver would be easier from Ashenfelter Road and using an additional crew.

It is with profound sadness the Royersford Fire family announces the passing of Anthony "Santa" Batzel.
Tony was an active member for many years. He served as Treasurer and began playing “Santa” at “Breakfast with Santa”. Later, Rita who was Tony's long time companion joined him as “Mrs. Claus” and for 10 years they quickly became a cornerstone of the annual “Breakfast with Santa & Mrs. Claus” at ...
