This afternoon Rescue 98 assisted the Ridge Fire Company on a commercial building fire in East Coventry Township. Rescue 98 in addition to having extrication tools and used primarily for auto accidents and other reviews also contains an air cascade system allowing for onsite refilling of Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA). This asset allows for continuing operations as air cylinders are used by firefighters on the fireground.
