My grandfather Raymond D. Schell Sr (1892-1969) was a volunteer in the early 1900s.
In the mid 1950s I spent many hours at the firehouse and at yearly carnivals.
My granddaughter is currently in Fire Academy and hopes to work in Fire, EMT, and Rescue.

Many thanks to the 2 EMTs who came to my aid when I fell this week. I had broken my arm in the fall and was not able to get up. They were very patient and caring in working out a solution that didn't cause more pain in my arm or some of my other health issues, to get me up and to the hospital.
I am glad to know that such high quality, caring help is available in our area.

I love the new, combined site. As a former EMT and married to a 50 year (retired) firefighter, we have never been prouder of the Friendship Ambulance and Royersford Fire Department. The active members of both squads act professionally at all times and make us proud to say we are part of the crews.
