Join the Royersford Fire Department!
We are always looking for new members to help! While firefighting and rescue is our primary service to the Spring-Ford community it's not the only role you can do. We are always in need of people that are able to assist us with fund-raising activities, clerical work, and maintenance around the station.
If you are 16 years of age or older but not quite 18 yet join our junior firefighter program. Our junior firefighter program gives exposure to emergency services in a safe environment while providing a solid foundation for learning support roles of the interior firefighters. Junior firefighters are an invaluable resource as they complete critical tasks while more experienced firefighters are actively fighting fires or performing rescue operations. All fire based training is paid for by the organization and can be completed at the Montgomery County Fire Academy in Conshohocken.
Is the medical field more appealing? Join the department as an EMS division member and learn how our ambulances and providers serve the sick and injured. Volunteer and gain experience while obtaining your Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification at one of the several training institutes we partner with.
Stop by the fire division station at 299 Walnut Street on Monday Nights around 7pm for more information! Feel free to complete an application before you stop in as well as complete a Pennsylvania State Police Background Check which every member is required to obtain.
