The members of the Royersford Fire Department are proud to congratulate Jeremy Davis on completing his Firefighter 1 certification. The training involved in attaining certification consists of over 180 hours of classroom and practical evolution time. Our firefighters attend most classes at the Montgomery County Public Safety Training Center in Plymouth Township. The national certification is based on standards which are the same whether you are a member of a volunteer fire department or a full time paid fire department.

The time commitment involved in this requires support from your fellow firefighters and at home from your family as the training takes place on weeknights as well as weekends.
