RFD Crew Practice Monday evening was timed hose drills. Thanks to Deputy Panetta for the utilization of his two car garage. Crews practiced disembarking from the Apparatus, deploying an 1 3/4 hose line, stretching it to the rear entrance of the garage. Once arriving at the rear entrance checking and forcing the door. Crews then entered checking for victims and extringuishment of indicated fire. Crews also practice RIT operations for a downed firefighter, utilizing proper MAYDAY operations. This exercise also allowed for some operators to refresh on the pump operations of the New Engine.
