After spending the morning early afternoon escorting Santa around Royersford, RFD crews got back to business being dispatched shortly before 4pm to Muirfield Drive assisting the Limerick Fire Department in the township. Crews from Limerick and Royersford arrived to find a chimney malfunction with personnel working together to mitigate the hazards and make quick work of the incident.

This incident serves as a reminder to have your chimneys and heating units serviced and/or cleaned annually to ensure they are functioning properly and are ready for the upcoming cold weather season.
