RFD units were dispatched Tuesday night assisting the Liberty Fire Company on a reported dwelling fire on Bridge Street in Spring City Borough. Initial details and first arriving units discovered smoke actively coming from the residence and upon further investigation discovered an electrical outlet sparking in the bathroom. Crews found fire in the walls extending into the second floor promoting crews to make a rapid knock on the fire after opening up the walls to extinguish the flames. This incident is under investigation by the Chester County Fire Marshal’s Office.
