It is with profound sadness the Royersford Fire family announces the passing of Anthony "Santa" Batzel.
Tony was an active member for many years. He served as Treasurer and began playing “Santa” at “Breakfast with Santa”. Later, Rita who was Tony's long time companion joined him as “Mrs. Claus” and for 10 years they quickly became a cornerstone of the annual “Breakfast with Santa & Mrs. Claus” at the firehouse.
The joy that was brought every year to the Spring-Ford Community by Tony as he climbed on top of the fire truck all decked out as Santa and waving to every child street by street!
