In December 2021 Friendship Ambulance along with East Vincent Township Police Department were dispatched to a residence for reports of a cardiac arrest. After arriving onscene responders found the patient had been a victim of a brutal assault including being stabbed. Paramedics & police immediately began to deliver medical care transporting to Phoenixville Hospital where the patient ultimately succumbed to the injuries and was pronounced dead.
In the days following East Vincent Township Police Department, the Chester County District Attorney's Office, other law enforcement agencies pieced together evidence bringing the actor in this crime to justice. A part of the evidence gathering was the Electronic Patient Care Records (ePCRs) documenting the scene, injuries, and care delivered to the patient.

During the ceremony representatives from the District Attorney's office noted "the meticulous record keeping and attention to details by visual and written documentation from East Vincent PD and Friendship Paramedics led to the conviction of the actor and justice was served."
